For Doug

Six sentences, thirty years later.

Not every tribute needs a podium, or a page. Some need six sentences.

Happy Birthday Doug! It's been long time, but I've never forgotten you. You were a positive influence in my life when I'm sure I needed it most. Who knows what directions I could have gone in back then, but I'm pleased enough with where I've landed, and you were a big part in that. I'm glad to see your family grow with Annette, and wish many more years for you and yours.

I write tributes for a living — eulogies, toasts, send-offs and keepsakes. See how that works.
